We had a great time at Cabela's Fort Worth last Saturday and the winner of the free fishing trip drawing was Cindy Williams of Keller, Texas, Congratulations!

I was able to fish a group Sunday we caught our limit of 40 stripers by 8:40am, we released several fish over 20" and a 9lb and 18lb, what a trip!
The striper fishing at Lake Texoma just doesn't get any better than it does right now and should stay that way through July and into August.

We fished Saturday & Sunday this past weekend which we had a great time on the lake catching a boatload of stripers.

The winds were very high today following a cold front and we were confined to the Little Mineral Arm, we gave it three miserable hours to no avail and called it a day.

It was a great day to be on Lake Texoma, we had a lot of fun and caught our limit of stripers by 9:30am. We fished the hump outside of the mouth of the Little Mineral arm in 37' of water using live shad.

It started off a little foggy today and couldn't quiet figure out exactly where we were for a while but we caught our limit of stripers by noon.We fished somewhere on Table Top for a while and then on the southeast ledge of Table Top in 34' of water using live shad.

We didn't catch a limit of stripers today but we caught enough to make everyone happy. We fished the Oklahoma Flats to Mac Creek in 28' - 42' of water using 1.5oz slabs and live shad.

The fishing is turning around and getting better everyday, within the next couple of weeks the fishing should get great. We caught 26 stripers and 1 sand bass at Platter Flats in 20' - 32' of water using live shad.

The fishing seems to be getting better, it's an early bite and the fish quit biting by 9:30am-10:30am. We didn't catch a limit but we caught 24 stripers and 1 sand bass before they quit. We fished at Platter Flats in 24' - 42' of water using live shad.

The summer stress has the fishing slowed to a crawl, we have fished several days this month while we have caught fish at best it has been 12-14 fish and most trips it's been 5-8 fish. The fishing will pick up again in October when the water cools and the oxygen levels raise in the lake. Until then we can still catch a few fish and have fun doing it. Most of the stripers are staging up river waiting for the rain and rushing water to spawn, as soon as the rains come the stripers will spawn and the fishing will be great, so watch the weather and get ready to catch a lot of trophy fish through June.

The fishing started off great we caught 12 stripers in the first hour but after that the fishing got tough, we caught plenty of fish to make everyone happy but were short of our limit. We fished TI Point in 58' of water using live shad.

It was cold, windy and after the full moon last night it was a long day on the water, I had morning and afternoon trips but couldn't get the fish to do anything, for over two hours on the afternoon trip we had fish 25' thick under the boat and only caught eight fish. The fish we caught were at Little Glasses in 48' of water using live shad.

This weekend the fishing was a little tough, although everyone of my customers had a great time out on the water. The stripers are in their winter feeding pattern, the schools will feed hard for a couple of days and not for a couple. We will always go out and catch plenty of fish and have a good time doing it, so get out of that house you've been cooped up in the last couple of months and let's go fishing.

Winter fishing on Lake Texoma is very productive and a lot of fun. The problem is that most people won't brave the cool weather and get out of the house to have a little fun. There is a solution: 1.) You don't have to depart the marina at the crack of dawn, wait until mid morning for it to warm up a little. 2.) Dress in layers so as the day warms you can remove the extra clothing as needed. There are advantages to winter fishing on Lake Texoma: 1.) You don't have a hundred boats encroaching on your fishing hole scattering your school fish. 2.) Your chances of catching a trophy striper are considerably higher. 3.) You will most likely see our National Bird the Bald Eagle in the wild, there are several of pairs that winter at Lake Texoma. June has been an awesome month for striper fishing we have taken 33 trips out this month and have caught out limit on almost all accusations. We have been fishing from the Denison Dam to the Cross in 15' - 65' of water using live shad. We also caught several monster fish this month that customers took home to have mounted.

Today it started out a little cool and warmed up by mid morning we caught our limit of 50 stripers by 11:30am. Our afternoon trip was much the same we caught our limit of 20 stripers by 5:00pm. We caught our fish at the Cross in 27 '-45' of water using live shad.

We had a great week of fishing during Spring Break we ended up with 12 trips which several trips caught their limit and others caught plenty of fish to take home to fry up. We fished from the Cross in 43' of water to Grand Pappy Point in 32' of water using live shad.

The lake was rough with wind gust to 35 mph but the fishing was awesome. Caught our limit of stripers in less than 3 hours outside of Big Mineral in 50' of water on live shad.

The weather was great to day but the fishing was a little slow they were under the boat but wouldn't eat. We caught 21 stripers form Big Mineral to Cedar Mills and just west of the Hwy 377 bridge in 45'-50' of water using live shad.

It was rainy and cold today but we caught our limit of stripers and even threw a few back over 20" long from Hightport Marina to Big Mineral in 52' of water on live shad.

The winds were 25 to 35 with gust to 40 and very cold on the water. We caught a few fish but the lake was too rough and unsafe to go where the fish have been holding for the past couple of weeks. We caught our fish outside of Highport Marina in 50' of water on live shad.
