Central Texas Fishing Guide Allen Morehouse

I was born and raised in the Pacific North West. I moved down to Texas in 1996, to be with my family. I am
related to the whole town of Nocona it seems! I have had a passion for the outdoors my entire life. I have
hunted and fished all over the United States and the thrill is still there. I rode bulls for a living
(PBR-PRCA)until 2001. My oldest son Zane was born in 1999, I decided being home with him was more
important than chasing gold buckles. I started Heart Of Texas Guided Hunts in 2000 on a part time basis
and took it full time in 2001. In 2005 I started guiding private water fly fishing trips and lake fishing. Over
the past four years we have grown into a complete outdoor service for Texas. Hunting, fishing, we do it
all. This is not a hobby for us it is our way of life. I have been blessed to be able to fallow my life's
ambitions. I now have three boys of my own and my nephew living with me. Yes, it's like a run away train
around here, but I love it!! All of my boys play baseball, to my oldest (9) Zane, baseball is life. It has been
simply awesome watching him grow with the game. He has passion, like father like son.......I am
passionate about my business and the outdoors. If I am not at a baseball game watching the boys play, I
am on the water or in the woods. That's my life and I LOVE IT!!!
