Marsh Fishing Information Here in Southeast Texas we have one of the best keep secrets on the coast, our marsh fishing. Our marshes range from the south end of Sabine Lake, which includes Keith Lake and its chain of lakes, to the northern marshes of Sabine, which includes Bessie Heights and its surrounding areas. While fishing the marsh you can expect to catch Redfish, Speckled Trout, and the prized Flounder known to this area. We use a wide variety of lures to catch these fish which includes spoons, plastics, top water, live bait, and just about anything else in between. Our marshes have less pressure on them then other marshes on the Texas Gulf Coast, which means more fish and better quality fish. Being a Texas Saltwater Guide means constantly having to adapt to the changes in tide, wind, temperature and water clarity. Capt. Chris Phillips of Sabine Outdoors has fished the bays and marshes all his life. His keen knowledge of the local marsh is key to finding fish when conditions are less than perfect. Deposit A $100 deposit is required to secure booking. Cancellations A cancellation with refund can only be made by the Captain and only if the trip cannot be rebooked at a later date. There is a $100 cancellation fee for a Marsh Fishing Trip. The Captain reserves the right to cancel any trip due to inclement weather, equipment failures or other circumstances beyond his control. Provided We provide all fishing equipment including Lone Star graphite rods & Shimano reels, artificial baits, ice, as well as cleaning and packaging your catch. You Provide A Texas fishing license and saltwater stamp, your sunscreen, food, water, and appropriate clothing for the season. Payment Information We accept cash and all major credit and debit cards.
